多种新冠病毒突变在世界各地出现 世卫组织说要(2)

指南指出,不同国家拥有的诊断能力,测序设备,以及对基因组数据的分析能力都不相同,因此应该根据自身的能力范围,设定切合实际的目标。通过基因组测序,可以达到的公共健康目标包括:发现和进一步表征新冠病毒并且协助开发应对手段;监控新冠病毒的传播和地域分布;监控新冠病毒的演变并协助开发应对手段。

 

限制传播仍然是防止新冠病毒进一步演变的重要手段

 

不同新冠病毒突变体都携带相似的基因变异显示,在世界各地不同的新冠病毒在演化方向上有一定的一致性。而病毒的基因突变是在不断传播和增殖的过程中产生的,因此只要病毒不断传播和增殖,即使没有输入病例,造成新冠病毒传播力提高或者逃避中和抗体识别的基因变异仍然有可能产生。除了通过基因组测序监控病毒演变之外,接种新冠疫苗,提高对新冠病毒的免疫力,以及保持社交距离和良好个人卫生习惯,都能够帮助控制病毒的传播,从而降低它们进一步产生突变的机会。
